Collection arrangement allows FAMILY BANK to handle documents (Financial or Commercial documents) in accordance with instructions received. That is; deliver documents either against payment, against acceptance or on other terms and conditions.

Financial documents means bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques or other similar instruments used for obtaining the payment of money.

Commercial documents mean invoices, transport documents, documents of title, or other similar documents.

Types of Collections handled by FAMILY BANK;

Clean Collections: - Contains financial documents.
Documentary Collections: - contains financial and commercial documents or just commercial documents
Import / Inward Collections.
Export / Outward Collections.
Import Collections

Requirements for Payment: -

Customer’s instructions.
Import Declaration form (IDF) copy.

Export Collections

Requirements for Processing: -

Customer’s forwarding letter of instructions.
Collection documents.
