This account enables the business person to transact using a cheque book. Overdraft facilities arealso  available.

• Opening amount Kshs 2000/= and an additional amount of Kshs 700/= towards search fee to authenticate the Certificate.
• This account can be maintained by registered businesses or groups
• No notice is required for withdrawals of  large amounts of money or frequent withdrawals.
• One may deposit cash as well as clear cheques.
• A free statement is available on this account. This is dispatched directly from the branch. However, an account print-out is available on request at a fee.
• An electronic version also known as  E-statement is available.
• Please register at any Family Bank branch. You can also download e-statement application  form elsewhere in this website and take it with you to any of our branches for registration.

Requirements  for registered groups/ Self Help Groups/NGOs

• Original and photocopy of the Business registration certificate.
• Minutes of the meeting  bearing the proposed signatories and authorising them to open an account with Family Bank
• The minutes should be certified by the District Social Development Oficer [DSDO]
• Original and photocopy of the group's Constitution.
