Are you A Kenyan Living Abroad?
PROCEDURE FOR OPENING AN ACCOUNT FOR KENYANS ABROAD
  1. Download, print and complete the application and reference forms below.
    1. Ensure the reference form is duly signed by an introducer who is either an existing Family Bank account holder, a practicing professional or an authorized FBL agent.
    2. Filling in your email address is mandatory for communication purposes.
  2. Attach the following to the complete application form.
    1. Color passport size photo.
    2. Copy of Kenyan National Identification Card or a valid Kenyan Passport (Make a copy of the 1st, 2nd and last page of your Passport)
    3. A copy of the Social Security Card is acceptable for Kenyans living abroad.
    4. A document showing your physical address e.g Utility Bill, bank Statements, Government or Local Authority Bills and telephone Bills. These Bills dates must be less than 3 months old (Ensure that all copies are certified by a Notary Public).
  3. Send the documents via DHL or registered mail to the following address:

  1. We shall notify you on receipt of your documents.
  2. The account will be opened and activated within 24 hours and an email sent advising you on the account details as specified on the account opening forms.
  3. You can send funds directly into your account using the usual money transfer services, drafts or SWIFT
  4. You can do direct credit using the following:
